Last Friday, January 22, the H.E. Ambassador of India to Brazil, Mr. Suresh Reddy, was present in Rio de Janeiro for the ceremony to receive the 2 million doses of the Oxford / Astrazeneca's vaccine produced at the Serum Institute in India.
The General Coordinator of the India Brazil Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Letícia Gomes and the IBCC’s Analyst, Mr. Adriano Andrade, were also present at the vaccine reception ceremony.
The doses arrived in Rio de Janeiro around 10 pm on a azul airline plane, and were "christened" by two fire brigade trucks that squirted water.
