Mr. K.V. Kamath is one of India's most talented and recognized business leaders. He began his illustrious career in 1971 at ICICI, India's largest private sector bank. In 1988, he joined the Asian Development Bank in the private sector department. He has received wide recognition, including CNBC Asian Business Leader of the Year (2001), Forbes Asia Businessman of the Year (2007) and Business Leader of the Year by The Economic Times, India (2007). In 2008, Kamath received Padma Bhushan, one of India's highest civilian honors.
