The India Brazil Chamber of Commerce accompanied the Ambassador of India in Brazil, Mr. Ashok Das, during his first Official Visit to the State of Minas Gerais and the City of Belo Horizonte. On the occasion, Consul General AH of India in Minas Gerais, Mr. Élson Gomes Júnior, and the President of the India Brasil Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Leonardo Ananda, attended all of his visits in the capital of Minas Gerais, in particular meetings with Exmo . Sergio Moro, Minister of Justice; Exmo. Romeu Zema, Governor of the State of Minas Gerais; Exmo. Paulo Brant, Deputy Governor of the State of Minas Gerais and his Exmo. Alexandre Kalil, Mayor of the City of Belo Horizonte.

On April 25, the Exmo. Ambassador of India, Mr. Ashok Das, was received by Hon. Deputy Governor of the State of Minas Gerais, Mr. Paulo Brant and also made a courtesy visit to the Mayor of the City of Belo Horizonte, Mr. Alexandre Kalil, where the perspectives of the India Brazil relationship were discussed.
On the evening of this day, the Consul of India in Minas Gerais, Dr. Élson de Barros, hosted a dinner of welcome and honor to Ambassador Ashok Das, who had Indian cuisine and the presence of the speakers of the Doing Business with India event.
On the 26th, the Ambassador attended a breakfast with his Exmo. Governor of the State of Minas Gerais, Mr. Romeu Zema, and his Exmo. Minister of Justice, Mr. Sérgio Moro.
To end his trip to Minas Gerais on the 27th, the Ambassador participated in the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Brazilian Association of Zebu Creators in Uberaba-Associated Chamber of Commerce India Brazil.
