Beginning of works to expand Novelis' production capacity

Today, on March 21, the President of the India Brazil Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Leonardo Ananda, participated in Pindamonhangaba, the event that marked the beginning of the works to expand the production capacity of the plates and aluminum recycling of Novelis, a company part of the Indian group Aditya Birla.

It was an investment of R $ 650 million that will be destined to increase the rolling capacity to 680 thousand tons per year and the recycling capacity to 450 thousand tons per year. In addition, they will build a rail terminal to make the logistics system more efficient and sustainable.
