Meeting with Amitabh Bachchan and visit the Bollywood Studios

During the Indian Experience, we will have the opportunity to visit the great Bollywood Studios and meet one of their greatest stars, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Bollywood is the largest film industry in the world, with an average of more than 1,000 films per year. In 2012 there were 1500 productions, overcoming the Hollywood production that produce about 650 films per year. Most of the productions are performed in Hindi, a language spoken by 70% of the Indian population and it has an extremely important role for the country's culture. Faced with the greatness of the industry, great names have emerged that have become known not only in India, but in other parts of the world as well. Amitabh Bachchan is one of the main Indian actors, having obtained great success after his participation in the program 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The Indian government has awarded the actor Padma Shri (1984), Padma Bushan (2001) and Padma Vibushan (2015) for his artistic contributions to the country. Bachchan began his career in 1969 when he starred in the film 'Saat Hindustani'. He also starred in films such as 'Anand' (1970) and 'Namak Haram' (1973), won the National Award for his role in 'Agneepath' (1990) and starred in 'The Great Gatsby' (2013) produced in Hollywood.

VIP Location during the Republic Day Parade

The Indian Republic Day is celebrated on the 26th of January, the day marks the implementation of the Constitution of 1950. The celebrations include great parades throughout India. In the capital, New Delhi, the parade is attended by the military, the Indian Army and the Air Forces. On this day, we will have a privileged location to enjoy the celebrations to the fullest.

It will be a great pleasure and an extraordinary experience to participate of the India Experience, organized by India Brazil Chamber of Commerce. To visit India, to know its history, its ethnic, religious and cultural syncretism, its democratic vocation and its dizzying economic and technological growth is always a fascinating adventure. With the second largest population on the planet and a huge consumer market, being the third largest market for startups in the world, India offers unparalleled opportunities for business and investor relations in both countries. I am sure that the India Experience will be a success and will greatly contribute to the growing and strategic partnership between India and Brazil
